Designing how mobile payments would work
What made it hard
Help define the next version of a payment system when paying by phone was still new, and mistakes in the security couldn’t be patched over later.
What I did

Joined the team in Waterloo defining the next version of Mastercard’s mobile payment kit.

Worked on the security and encryption questions inside the team writing the specification.
What came out of it
The team’s specification became the kit given to Mastercard’s partners.
